Vince Carter was born January 26, 1977 and is a professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m) tall and plays both shooting guard and small forward but occasionally has played power forward during the latter part of his career. Carter is the only player in NBA history to play 22 seasons; the only player to play in four different decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s) and, at 43 years old, he is the oldest active NBA player, and the last one that was born in the 1970s.
